Dr. Joan Olinger graduated with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Western Ontario in 1984.
Her professional experience includes working as a Clinical Psychologist at both University Hospital, London and the Regional Mental Health Centre in London, as well as serving as Professor of Psychology at Western.
She has won several teaching awards and published a number of scientific research articles on depression, anxiety, and stress.
In 1991 Dr. Olinger established her own private practice in psychology, which continues to serve London and surrounding communities.
Dr. Olinger provides a variety of psychological services for adults that suffer from various problems. She is client-focused in her approach, and personally works with every client for every session.
During the school year (September to April) approximately one-third of her clients are university students from the nearby university (UWO). The remaining clients come from the community, with the majority being in London or nearby locations such as Woodstock, Thamesford, Glencoe, Chatham, and Sarnia.
